Mukesh Ambani Books Stoke Park Hotel for Anant's Post-Wedding Celebrations

Mukesh Ambani, the wealthiest man in India, has reserved the luxurious Stoke Park hotel in London through September to host the post-wedding celebrations for his son, Anant Ambani, and his new wife, Radhika Merchant. The booking was reported by The Sun.

Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, married Radhika Merchant in a grand ceremony in Mumbai on July 12. The extravagant wedding, which included numerous pre-wedding events, is estimated to have cost around $500 million.

Stoke Park, a prestigious seven-star hotel located in Buckinghamshire, outside London, features a mansion, golf courses, and tennis courts. Mukesh Ambani's company, Reliance Industries, acquired the lease for this iconic estate in 2021 for £57 million. The estate was subsequently closed for renovations.

Due to lease terms that mandate the property be used for commercial purposes rather than private residence, the hotel was initially closed to the public but accessible to Ambani family members. This caused some friction with the local council and community.

To address this, Mukesh Ambani has reportedly booked the entire hotel for two months, allowing the family to host various celebrations. Around 850 golf club members have been asked to stay away during this period.

According to The Sun, high-profile guests including Prince Harry and former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair are expected to attend. Security measures have been heightened in preparation for these prominent attendees.

A source close to the situation commented, “The Ambanis don’t do things by halves and so thought nothing of booking the entire venue for two months. The cost is insignificant to them. The bride, groom, and their families will enjoy a series of parties between now and September.”
