Bodyguard Firmly but Gently Protects Anant Ambani from Enthusiastic Fan in Paris

Newlywed Anant Ambani is currently in Paris with his wife, Radhika Merchant. Several pictures and videos of the couple have surfaced on social media, showing them exploring the city and attending the Paris Olympics 2024. One particular video of Anant with his bodyguard has gone viral. It shows how the bodyguard firmly but gently protects Anant, the youngest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, from an excited fan.

In the video, Anant gets out of his car and greets the fans, saying “Hello.” One fan asks, “How was your day?” Another fan gets close to Anant with his phone for a selfie. While taking the picture, the fan puts his hand around Anant’s shoulder. At that moment, the bodyguard quickly but gently removes the fan’s hand. The fan then thanks Anant before moving away.

As the video continues, another person off-camera asks, “Anant, do you speak French?” Anant responds, “No,” but then adds, “Bonjour (Hello),” with a smile. He also asks the people around him where they are from. Towards the end of the video, Radhika Merchant appears on screen. The video concludes with another fan asking Anant for a picture, to which Anant smiles and says, “Come.”

The video has prompted many to discuss Anant's politeness and humility, in addition to his bodyguard’s swift reaction.

In July, Anant and Radhika celebrated various pre-wedding rituals and finally tied the knot on July 12. This was followed by two more celebrations: Shubh Ashirwad on July 13, which was attended by PM Modi, and a grand reception on July 14.
