Bobby Lashley and MVP Rumored to Leave WWE for AEW

Former WWE stars MVP and Bobby Lashley are reportedly considering leaving the company. Lashley has been off WWE programming due to an injury he suffered in May, while MVP last appeared in April as the manager of Omos, who has not been used much in 2024.

There have been reports suggesting that Lashley might leave WWE once his contract expires, and there is speculation that he could join AEW, a rival wrestling promotion. MVP is also rumored to be leaving WWE, possibly to join Lashley. This has led to rumors about a potential reunion of The Hurt Business, the group they were part of in WWE.

The possible departure of Lashley and MVP has created a buzz among WWE fans. Both wrestlers were key figures in WWE during the pandemic era, along with Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. Benjamin was released last year, but Alexander is still active in WWE's NXT brand.

Since Triple H took over as the head of WWE's creative team in 2022, Bobby Lashley's prominence has decreased compared to when Vince McMahon was in charge. Lashley's recent attempts to form a new faction called The Pride and MVP's partnership with Omos did not resonate well with fans. Lashley even expressed his dissatisfaction on WWE's show, *The Bump*, a few months ago, which adds to the speculation about their departure.

Triple H recently addressed the rumors about Lashley and MVP's potential exit during an interview. He noted that contract renewals and releases are a normal part of the business, and such changes are ongoing. This statement came after Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan traveled to London to discuss bringing WrestleMania to the city.

As of now, the departure of Bobby Lashley and MVP from WWE remains unconfirmed, but the situation has certainly captured the attention of the wrestling community.
