Jennifer Aniston Slams J.D. Vance’s Controversial Comments on Childless Politicians

Jennifer Aniston has expressed her shock over recent resurfaced comments made by J.D. Vance, the GOP vice presidential candidate. On Wednesday, Aniston took to Instagram to address the controversy after a July 2021 interview with Fox News featuring Vance went viral.

In the interview, Vance, known for his book *Hillbilly Elegy*, criticized Democratic politicians, suggesting that the U.S. was being influenced by "childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and want to make the rest of the country miserable too."

Aniston, 55, voiced her disbelief at Vance's remarks. “I truly can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of the United States,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

She continued, “Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to have children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.” Aniston, who has shared her own experiences with IVF, emphasized her concern over Vance’s views.

In the interview, Vance, 39, also questioned the influence of childless Democratic figures like Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Pete Buttigieg, arguing that it was illogical for the country to be led by those without children. Vance, who has three young children with his wife Usha, was announced as former President Donald Trump's vice presidential candidate on July 15.
